Virginia Football | UVa takes on MTSU
Area alums make strong showing as Virginia
comes to town and edges the Raiders, 23-21
Hundreds of 'Hoos from across the Mid-South came out to cheer Virginia to a come-from-behind victory at Middle Tennessee State University. Nearly 200 alums joined the UVa Club of Middle Tennessee at its pre-game tailgate from as far away as Atlanta, Louisville, Memphis and Charlottesville.
Virginia fans were impressively visible and vocal at Floyd Field, with a crowd MTSU radio commentators said was one of the largest in the school's history. Virginia won the game on a 34-yard field goal with seconds to play!

| Our 2007 Holiday Cocktail Party on Saturday, December 8 was at the home of Bob ('69) and Susan Tuke. Alums of all ages turned out for a fun and festive evening! Many thanks to the Tukes for graciously opening their home to our Club! |
Annual Holiday Party
The Nashville UVa Club hosts an annual holiday party in December at the home of an area Virginia alumnus/alumna. We always have a great turnout for our holiday season festivities. Nashville Sounds Baseball Game & Picnic
Each baseball season, the Club organizes an outing to Greer Stadium to watch the Nashville Sounds "play ball!" Alumni from Virginia, Duke, and UNC have joined us in past years for a picnic dinner, baseball game, and fantastic fireworks show. |
