UVa Provost Arthur Garson speaker 2010  an evening with University Provost   and author Arthur Garson, Jr.

In addition to serving as Executive Vice President and Provost at The University, Arthur Garson, MPH, MD is the author of Health Care Half Truths: Too Many Myths, Not Enough Reality.  He will join the UVa Club of Middle Tennessee here in Nashville on Monday evening, March 1, discuss America's health care, focusing on the ways in which the system is tarnished, as well as the ways in which it shines. He will shed light on the information whirlwind surrounding the health care debate, including a close look at the 'sound bite' arguments which, while sounding reasonable and making news headlines, are often flawed. The discussion will explore common myths and provide hard facts to piece together the real picture, as well as health care reform.

2009 Holiday Party Pix!

Over 60 Middle Tennessee UVa alums came together on December 11 to share the spirit of the season at our annual Holiday Party. Grads from all of the past four decades were in attendance. Our young alums were especially well represented!

Thanks to Kate & Steven Ezell for hosting this year's wonderful event!
